Benno Nelson
OWNER
Benno Nelson spent (or wasted depending on your point of view) his youth playing in bands. He went on to build a career and business in video production in the heart of Los Angeles. Following his love for tattoos, he decided to pursue his vision to open a tattoo shop. Enter Birdie's. Centered on the tenants of good vibes, amazing artistry and distinctive atmosphere, Birdie's is a one of a kind shop. Come see for yourself.

Maranda
SHOP MANAGER
Maranda has always been drawn to art—it’s not just a hobby, it’s her guiding passion. That love for art is what led her to tattooing. She is fascinated by the styles and stories they tell, whether it’s deeply personal or something silly like- “I just really like hotdogs.” Every tattoo has meaning, and one day she will be an artist herself.
Maranda grew up in Colorado - since then, she lived in Alabama and Georgia before settling here in Nashville three years ago.
Whether you’re coming in for your first tattoo or adding to a growing collection, Maranda is here to make the process comfortable, and uniquely yours!
Fun Fact: If you hear “If Everything Means Nothing” by Fit for a King blasting in the shop, it’s probably her doing.
